Teleportation

Image
Teleportation   is the hypothetical transfer of  matter   or  energy   from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them. It is a common subject in science fiction  litrature   and in other popular culture. Teleportation is often paired with  time travel , being that the travelling between the two points takes an unknown period of time, sometimes being immediate. There is no known physical mechanism that would allow for teleportation. Frequently appearing scientific paper and media articles with the term  teleportation  typically report on so-called "quantum teleportation", a scheme for information transfer which, due to the no-communication theorem, still would not allow faster-than-light communication. The use of the term  teleport  to describe the hypothetical  of material objects between one place and another without physically traversing the distance between them has been documented as early as 1878. American writer is credited with having co

Cloud Computing Security

Image
Cloud computing security or, more simply, cloud security refers to a broad set of policies, technologies, applications, and controls utilized to protect virtualized IP, data, applications, services, and the associated infrastructure of cloud computing. It is a sub-domain of computer security, network security, and, more broadly, information security. Security issues associated with the cloud Cloud computing and storage provide users with capabilities to store and process their data in third-party data centers. Organizations use the cloud in a variety of different service models (with acronyms such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS) and deployment models (private, public, hybrid, and community). Security concerns associated with cloud computing are typically categorized in two ways: as security issues faced by cloud providers (organizations providing software-, platform-, or infrastructure-as-a-service via the cloud) and security issues faced by their customers (companies or organizations who ho

Auto Mechanics

Image
An   auto mechanic   ( automotive technician   in most of  North America ,   light vehicle technician   in  British English , and   motor mechanic   in  Australian English  ) is a  mechanic   with a variety of  automobiles make   or either in a specific area or in a specific make of automobile. In  repairing   cars, their main role is to  diagnose   the problem accurately and quickly. They often have to quote prices for their customers before commencing work or after partial disassembly for inspection. Their job may involve the repair of a specific part or the replacement of one or more parts as assemblies. Basic vehicle maintenance is a fundamental part of a mechanic's work in modern industrialized countries while in others they are only consulted when a vehicle is already showing signs of malfunction. Preventive maintenance is also a fundamental part of a mechanic's job, but this is not possible in the case of vehicles that are not regularly maintained by a mechanic. One mi

Cloud Computing

Image
Cloud computing   is the on-demand availability of  computer system resources , especially data storage (cloud storage ) and  computing power , without direct active management by the user.   Large clouds often have functions  distributed   over multiple locations, each location being a data center. Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and  economies of scale . The availability of high-capacity networks, low-cost computers and storage devices as well as the widespread adoption of hardware virtualization, served oriented architecture and autonomic and utility computing has led to growth in cloud computing. As of 2017, 90% of the public cloud runs a Linux-based operating system. Clouds may be limited to a single organization (enterprise or private clouds), or be available to multiple organizations (public cloud). Cloud providers typically use a "pay-as-you-go" model, which can help in reducing capital expenses but may also lead to unexpected ope
